Brrrrrrr, it’s cold

Is everybody managing to stay warm this past week. Up north were I live we got down to about -30. Today I am going to talk about our heated swimming pool. At Timberline RV Resort we take great pride in our pool. My right hand man Gary Miller keeps the pool water sparkling clean. It hurts your eyes looking at the water on a bright sunny day. This is achieved by a combination of daily vacuuming/cleaning and testing the water chemistry multiple times. The pool holds 35,000 gallons of water and is heated to a balmy 82 degrees. This is the same temp as the waters off a sandy beach in the Bahamas. Many generations of our seasonal campers have learned to swim in this pool. Along with the sundeck we added in 2006 the swimming pool remains one of the most popular amenities at the park. Greetings from Timberline. Keeping up with modern technology is a real struggle for me. I’m more comfortable out working in the park, getting my hands dirty rather than pecking away on a keyboard. With that being said, I will be taking “baby steps” as I explore the world of blogging. Future content of my blogs will include talking about our events, items and articles of interest that pertain to our seasonal and overnight camping families.
